Ahoy all!
I thought I would take this moment to talk about volunteer opportunities available at the Center for Volunteerism and Student Leadership! Specifically, on December 1st, there will the be Interfaith Older Adult Holiday Party at the Clinton Rose Senior Center. You can spend time with older adults, facilitate games, and help serve a holiday meal. Food and transportation is provided for this event.
The event is from 10:30am to 2:30pm, and I think this is a great opportunity to meet new people, or bond with friends (sign up with your roommate or suite members!) while making a difference in the community, specifically in the lives of these older adults.
