Checking out the Neighborhood!

On Feb. 13th at 7:30pm the Neighborhood Housing office is putting on a presentation about the preferred tenant program and living off-campus.  There has been a lot of interest from transfers about wanting to move

to an off-campus and this was something that UWM has a wonderful resource for.  As much as I would like to claim that RA's know all, this was one area that I deferred to the Neighborhood Housing to assist with.  This event will be was wonderful opportunity for residents to ask questions about living off-campus in a relaxed setting.  Also it will help to educate them on what considerations they should take when moving off-campus and what the preferred tenant program has to offer them.  Not to mention contact information for further questions or assistance.  This event is also going to double as a way for the transfer students in South Tower since floors 7/8 will also be attending this event.  It will provide the setting for people to make new connections and who knows maybe get a new roommate for new year!  Anything is possible!
