PRINT MKE is coming to Milwaukee for Spring Break!
PRINT MKE is an international printmaking conference where print makers from all around the world come to share work, ideas, knowledge, and collaborate. Hosted by Peck School of the Arts and MIAD, the conference will begin on March 20th and to to the 24th.
Events happening include artist demos, exhibitions, an open portfolio exchange, guest speakers and tours of Milwaukee's art scene.
Students are invited to register for free and attend as much of the conference as they want! (contact Bonnie Murphy for registration) Also, students are being asked to volunteer during the conference - a great way to get involved, be a leader, and get a line to put on your resume. (contact Josie Osborne for volunteer info) Volunteers who contribute 15 hours or more of work are eligible to be entered in a drawing for a signed, one of a kind work by internationally known artist, William Kentridge!
