Every three months, there is a gallery night/day event held in the Third Ward of Milwaukee. At this event, various artist sign up (and pay) to participate and show their work at local galleries throughout the Third Ward. The galleries are open to everyone for viewing during this event and completely free, so go check it out!
This month, gallery night/day is being held on Friday, April 19th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, April 20th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. You can take the Greenline to get to the vicinity of the galleries, but it will require some walking! To see a list of all the available locations for this month's gallery night/day, you can take a look at the participant list at http://www.historicthirdward.org/events/gallerynight.php. This will give you access to names, locations, and maps! Check it out, look at local art, and have fun!
