Places to go to dance outside of campus!

UWM has many opportunities to immerse yourself in dance, but don't forget to explore beyond campus!

Danceworks, founded by one of UWM's faculty Dani Kuepper, is a great resource for dancers and non-dancers of all ages. Danceworks offers a variety of dance classes, ranging from traditional ballet to hip hop. There are also workshops in which students can experience guest artists, expanding their knowledge of movement.

A part from being a great resource for the public, Danceworks is also a contemporary dance performance company. Their shows often collaborate with the local Milwaukee art community, demonstrating the excitement collaboration creates.

Danceworks has a flexible schedule that can fit into your day easily, as there are classes everyday  from morning to night except Sunday. The schedule also changes from season to season so it is important to keep updated by being on the email or mailing list.

Danceworks is located on the edge of Water and Brady street. The easiest way to access it from campus is to take the green line heading south.
