Things to Do, Places to Go: The Safe House and Newsroom Pub

In the Journalism, Advertising, Media Studies LLC, we are given much opportunity to learn and explore Milwaukee newsrooms and work side by side with professional journalists and media producers.

Over the past couple weeks our LLC has gone to the FOX 6 Newsroom, the UWM Post, and ESPN Milwaukee.

Many more adventures and field trips are yet to come, but what about JAMS outside the classroom?

To find some news themed activities and grub in Milwaukee, take your shot at some "investigative journalism" at The Safe House/Newsroom Pub.

The adjoined restaurants offer a lively atmosphere that caters to the young and old, civilian and celebrity. Feel free to explore two floors of secret nooks and hideaways where you will find an array of autographs, spy decor, covert comedy and surprises for you and your friends. A word of warning, the Safe House requires a secret password. Enter with caution and great humility.
Plus, the Newsroom Pub is the official Clubhouse of the Milwaukee Press Club, so you might just meet someone there you could work with in the future.

Intrigued? Go for a great experience you aren't soon to forget. The Safe House and Newsroom Pub is located right across from the Pabst Theatre: 779 N Front Street and 137 E Wells Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Safe House is Open:

Mon-Thu 11:30 am - 1:30 am

Fri-Sat 11:30 am - 2 am
Sun 11:30 am - 12 am

The Newsroom Pub is Open:

Tues-Sun 5 pm - 12 am
