Let's Get Involved!

Among the many different ways students can get involved on campus, here's one way University Housing Residents can get involved:

SHAC (Student Housing Administrative Council) works towards giving University Housing residents the opportunity to voice their opinions and suggestions regarding the happening in University Housing. SHAC also plans a multitude of different events throughout the academic year, as well as allocating funds to other University Housing groups. SHAC events and happenings in the past have included Sex Week, Snow Ball in Greene Hall, and they even helped co-sponsor Geek Week and helped bring Bill Nye to UWM.

Now is the perfect time to get involved with SHAC. If you are a University Housing resident and will be for the 2014-2015 academic year, you can run for a SHAC executive board position. There are five positions that are needing to be filled:

President
Vice President
Business Manager
Events Coordinator
National Communications Coordinator

Nomination forms are due March 14th! If you want to plan cool events for the university and help in giving students a voice in University Housing, get involved with SHAC!
