Social Welfare: Criminal Justice Student Association & Go Milwaukee

It is now March, we are over a month into the new semester, and things are in full swing within the Social Welfare LLC. Although the Criminal Justice/Social Work 105 class is over, our community continues to pursue educational opportunities related to the fields of Criminal Justice and Social Work. This month, we will be attending the Criminal Justice Student Association meeting together, and we also have plans for a large-scale event in the City of Milwaukee in collaboration with the City of Milwaukee Police Department. 

A noteworthy event this past month was the first “Go Milwaukee” event of the semester. Several prospective Social Welfare LLC students had the opportunity to take a tour of our community and hear from current residents within the LLC. We look forward to assisting with “Go Milwaukee” events in the future!
