Hello everyone!
What a CHILLY start to this Spring semester here at UWM! The Future Fraternity and Sorority Leaders have been busy with the start of school and participating and learning about the new recruitment process that has just begun!
Last week Monday we had a movie night where Residents and I watched "House Bunny" and when the movie was done, we described how our personal Greek groups or interactions with Greek organizations on the UWM Campus differs or is the same as the Greek life that was portrayed in the movie! We had a lot of positive conversations, and it opened everyone up to new points of view from many residents through creative discussion.
This past week residents also took place in various Winter Welcome events, like the Panther Basketball game, Laughapalooza, and the SHAC Snowball! Pictured below is Shelbey (another 3rd floor RA) and me having a blast at the Snowball!
The Social Welfare and Greek LLC partnered recently and had an event together, where residents could decorate Valentines for friends and family, and any extra Valentines made went to veterans around campus, which were distributed by the MAVRC office! Below are two Future Fraternity and Sorority Leader LLC members holding a beautiful Valentine!
We are getting busy planning a Chicago trip, so stay tuned for more exciting adventures coming this semester!
