Milwaukee Intermodal Station

Hi Friends!

So this month I wanted to tell you all about a wonderful little gem in Milwaukee called the Milwaukee Intermodal Station.  The Milwaukee Intermodal Station (MIS) is the home base for Milwaukeeans to travel by bus and train.  With access to both Amtrak and Greyhound right in one place, it's a great place to get to wherever you want to go from one easy place.

The MIS is located in Downtown Milwaukee, at 433 West St. Paul Avenue, Milwaukee.  The easiest way to get there is via the Green Line on Oakland Ave., using your U-Pass.  From the MIS, you can get just about anywhere.  Tickets are fairly cheap, with the Amtrak costing around $20 for a trip and the Greyhound at around $15.  Considering the cost of gas or flying, this is really a great deal!  Plus, you don't have to worry about the frustration of driving in traffic or obnoxious airport security.  Or, if you are flying somewhere and leaving from Chicago's O'Hare airport, this might be a great way to avoid having to drive down to the airport as the MIS has connections directly to O'Hare Airport.

So, as you are planning your Spring Break plans, please keep in mind leaving from the Milwaukee Intermodal Station.  You can choose either Amtrak or Greyhound, tickets are relatively inexpensive, and it's located right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee.  Just to make things easier, I'll post links to the websites!

Thanks everyone!

Best,
