Water Tower View

Need a place to go for your Deaf events?  Do you like to volunteer, but can’t find places within the Deaf community?  You should check out Water Tower View.  Water Tower View is a Senior Apartment Complex that accommodates Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.  TTY’s and video phones are available, as well as visual signals for doorbells, emergencies, and phone calls.

A Halloween Tree I helped residents of Water Tower View create.
There are many activities, but you can also bring your own activity to do with the residents of Water Tower View.  Water Tower View is located at Woodland Ridge on South Prairie Hill Lane in Greenfield.  Water Tower View is a great place to build your ASL skills and get a firsthand experience of Deaf Culture.  Individuals that live in this community are very welcoming and love to share their stories.  They are great to learn from because they grew up in Deaf Culture and ASL is their first language.  Check it out, you are sure to leave with a smile on your face!

For more information check out the Woodland Ridge website below.
