Welcome to the Panther Military LLC

Hello and welcome to another great year for the Panther Military LLC! My name is Jonathan Rooney and this will be my second year as the RA for Purin Hall. I am a senior in the nursing program and have clinicals this semester at West Allis Select Specialty hospital. I have been able to improve the lives of veterans and active military through both my work with University Housing and through my internship this summer. This Summer I worked as a nurse intern at the Tomah VA medical center on a transitional psych unit. This was a great experience for me and I am so lucky that I was able to make a difference in the lives of these veterans.

This is an exciting year for the Military LLC. I am incorporating some of my events that were wildly successful in the past as well as developing some brand new event ideas that will allow students to explore Milwaukee and the campus' resources. Pictured to the right is my building-opener event that featured a casino-themed game night. 

I have developed a team from my LLC students who worked together to plan a dodge ball event at the Klotsche center. This event is took place on Sept 22nd. In honor of the movie dodge ball, we have named the event "Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge".
