All Majors Career Day

Hey! I hope your first few weeks of classes have gone well!

I'm assuming that most of you came to college to eventually be able to pursue a career that you are passionate about. College is a learning experience both inside and outside the classroom. It is a time to grow and experience new things. It is also never too early to start building your resume!

The All Major's Career Day is coming up on October 4th from 10:00am-2:00pm in the Union Ballroom. I definitely recommend printing out a few resumes and stopping by! It's a great opportunity for you to see what kind of jobs are out there and maybe even land an internship or a part-time position. This career day is slightly less formal than the Lubar School of Business Career Fair in February, which caters to business students only. I would suggest dressing in business casual and bringing a folder with about 10 resumes.

Even if you are not looking for a position at the moment, I recommend stopping by just to browse and introduce yourself to a few people. That way, when the Business Career Fair comes up in February you will know what to expect and feel more comfortable.

Hope to see you there!

Brian

P.S. Check out the Career Development Website for some great career assessments and information about possible careers (what they pay and how to get there).

Also, don't forget the Career Services office in Lubar that is only available to business students!
